Hyatt Place Cincinnati / Sharonville Convention Center

Disappointed in the stay. Given the wrong room upon check in. Bathroom sink barely drains and couch cushions ripped up and look like they came out of the dumpster. Dirty pizza boxes left all around the pool area. Ladybugs all over the bed. Nasty! Due to the convention center next door, good luck finding a parking spot that's not a mile away. Glad I am mobile and can walk well. The breakfast is nasty too. Frozen waffles and the juice looked unappetizing and watery. 7 11 would have better breakfast.No microwave in the room, really? Rooms in low rent flea motels would at least offer that. Once you stay at this Hyatt, you'll be glad when you fly it-outta there!

Hyatt Place Sharonville offers a good value if booked for a stay when no convention is being held at the adjacent facility. It's a bit dated, but clean and well maintained. The rooms are somewhat darker than most modern hotel rooms, and the night stand between the beds is at the perfect height for banging an elbow. The mattresses are really, really soft, which you may or may not enjoy. Breakfast is about average for a hotel of this class, with eggs, bacon or sausage, and potatoes available daily. Great orange juice, which is rare for a hotel continental breakfast. The cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit salad were good, but the bread wasn't very fresh. I wanted to love this hotel. If you have an event at the convention center, this is the perfect location. But the rooms are loud. I heard cars and emergency vehicles on the road next to the hotel all night. The breakfast wasn’t great….the eggs were cold, the French toast burnt and everything needed refilled. The guy who checked us in the day before clearly hates his job and his life. He was complaining that the earlier shift didn’t separate our reservation and was rolling his eyes and huffing. When I got to my room, I found a prescription pill on the floor and a dirty sink. I am grateful I didn’t have children with me because they easily could have picked it up and ate it. I just wasn’t impressed.

Positive: Location but that wasn’t even worth it. They need to burn that nasty hole in the wall down. Negative: THEY HAVE Roaches! Service was terrible. It was no towels in the pool area! And lord the pool looked dirty and foggy. The television service is terrible. Signal kept going out.! Then I woke up to a roach. I’m so disgusted, I had my toddler with me.

The room was nice, but the toilet seat was dirty. I used the makeup remover sheets to clean it off. The rest of the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. They have a bar and also serve food. The bartender disappeared for quite sometime leaving a busy bar waiting to get drinks. One of the cooks (I think) brought food out to one of the patrons and ended up filling a few drink orders since the bartender was nowhere to be found. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Everything was cold, and there wasn't much selection, although there was a lot of each dish. The French toast was so cold that the butter wouldn't melt. The eggs and sausage were also cold.
