Hyatt Place Boise / Meridian

This was a first for me and extremely disappointing situation. I am traveling with my elderly parents and we booked a night at the Hyatt. We checked in and got our keys, then went to get our luggage. As we were bringing our luggage in we were greeted with the man that check is in telling us he was so sorry but they overbooked and we can’t acutely give us our room. Even though we already had the card to the room and our luggage out! I was so shocked and asked what kind of compensation we would receive and he said a refund… so we not only are feeling embarrassed to be stopped but also now stressing where are we going to stay and all we get is a refund?! No help booking another room? Nothing? Really unprofessional service. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of training but employees at a decent hote

This hotel was in pristine condition, with a friendly staff, and a nice breakfast included in the price. The room was clean and the shower was hot and powerful. I appreciated the fruit infused water in the lobby and the varied breakfast buffet. Food quality was average. Our room was on a higher floor near the elevators, but we were not bothered by any noise. We noticed they had a business area to print tickets if needed and a gym, but did not utilize those on our stay. We reserved a room with a King sized bed and a pull out couch for our teen son. It was spacious and included a safe and mini fridge. We only stayed one night because it was a couple hours closer to the airport than our relatives. I chose this hotel for high reviews in a reasonable price range.

Dear Hyatt Management Team, I would like to take a moment to recognize one of your employees, Jess, for the exceptional service he provided during our recent stay. After a very long day and night of driving with family, we arrived at the hotel exhausted and frustrated from the road. Walking into the lobby and being greeted by Jess with a genuine smile immediately made a difference. His warm welcome, professionalism, and positive attitude completely changed the tone of our evening. Jess was polite, patient, and generous with his time. He walked us through all the necessary details while maintaining a friendly and upbeat demeanor throughout the entire process. We had a room with a king bed and a pull out couch, it was a great set up! The furniture was nice, storage was utilized efficiently, and everything was clean and ready for us. The beds mattress was soft and comfortable, and the pull out couch was easy to set up on your own. The bathroom was modern and well stocked. The shower was great, water pressure was excellent and temperature had a good range. Not sure if this is the case in every room, but it was new to me, there was a small divider between the head of the bed and the couch, I thought that was cool! It was a great location too, near the freeway but not too close. Breakfast was free too!

Kimberly checked us in she wad quick and friendly got us situated. The call for a reservation was quick and easy too. Thr motel has room service, food service an on-site bar, snacks and drinks at the front and a seating area in the lobby it was clean through out and all staff we ran into maids, laundry and maintenance were friendly. The pool is heated outside with a hot tub and a fire area very cleab very fun for my grandson! They supply pool towels (nice)! The rooms are spacious 2 queen beds which had great pillows, soft and white linens. A sofa area for gathering around and visiting in your room great big TV for viewing if you choose. Breakfast was ok but good spread. This visit I am sure will be the first of many he enjoyed it so much very family friendly.
