Hyatt Place Baltimore/Inner Harbor

⭐⭐⭐ I had mixed feelings about this stay. The location is definitely the biggest plus — very convenient and easy to get around the Inner Harbor area. That part was great. However, the hotel itself feels quite outdated and in need of some serious TLC. The rooms and common areas didn’t feel as clean or refreshed as they should for the price point. It just feels worn and overdue for renovation. Breakfast was honestly disappointing — I didn’t even end up eating it. The coffee was not good at all. For what you’re paying, you expect better quality. Service was inconsistent. The valet drivers were outstanding — always smiling, polite, and genuinely kind. This hotel has a great location wonderful staff. Breakfast is nothing special gym is tiny pool is tiny don't expect much their but the location is optimal. Don't pay for parking there is smoke options when you get here (5 dollar garage behind the hotel). The room is spacious. Bathroom doesn't have a shower curtain. Shower doesn't come directly down (it's angled) for people not trying to get their hair wet.

We’ve stayed here several times in the past two months. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms on the high floor are larger and more comfortable. Veteran discount is good. Parking garage just behind the hotel is $15 per day versus $42 valet. Hotel is a good value.

Positive: The location to Little Italy, Fells Point & Harbor East was perfect…parked the SUV & didn’t need it until check out!!! The Valet was awesome & so we’re the front desk staff, etc… Negative: Everything was perfect!!!

The location entrance is tricky locate and since there's another downtown Baltimore Hyatt, the front desk clerk told me they get guests confusing the location. The area is considered more Little Italy rather than Inner Harbor & don't expect a harbor view because you'll basically get a parking lot view. The front desk and valet staff were friendly and pleasant. The air conditioner had issues, but overall the room was nice including a couch & coffee table. Baltimore City police regularly patrol the area and it's card key access at night at the entrance and always for the elevator.
