Hyatt Place Bakersfield

In A Nutshell: -This Hyatt in Bakersfield is awesome. -The location is perfect, especially when you are driving between California & Nevada. -It's a good place to spend the night. -There are plenty of good restaurants (Korean, Japanese, Thai & Mediterranean) & a Trader Joe's across the street. -I really liked that is has a gym to stay fit, a pool outside, it's dog friendly & there are plenty of parking spaces. -The breakfast spread in the morning is really good. -They aren't cheap w/ their scrambled eggs or sausage, you get eat a lot of food. Overall, all of the staff I encountered from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were all very nice & kind. I appreciate that.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt in Bakersfield, CA, while traveling solo, and the experience was outstanding. The hotel is immaculately maintained, and the modern room design created a comfortable and sophisticated atmosphere. One highlight was the beautiful sunset visible from the room, which added a serene and memorable touch to the stay. The bathroom was impeccably clean, and all aspects of the room reflected attention to detail and quality. The pool area was enjoyable, though there were some mosquitoes present during my visit. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe throughout my stay, which was a notable contrast to other hotels I stayed at during my road trip. This hotel was perfect for our family of 6 the double queen with sofa lounge was comfy. The room was clean modern and very comfy. The breakfast was a great feature on the hotel lobby and lounge area was one of the nicest for that level of hotel. The pool was warm and relaxing and the fitness room was really nice too. Overall, the staff was great and everyone was friendly and helpful, especially when we had had to make a move from another hotel due to a power outage and bad weather in the area. We are so thankful that we found this nice place to stay and relax for the rest of our family visit. We would stay here again anytime it was a great place to be.

Decided to stay here since we were in town for a family party. Check-in was extremely easy. The minute you walked into the lobby it smelled amazing and clean. The smell continued through the elevator and even the hallways. Our room was spacious and just so clean! We basically got the the hotel to sleep. Got back at 2am and went straight to bed. The bed and pillows were super comfortable!!! I was having issues with connecting to Netflix, so I called and they offered to come up to my room which was so nice. My husband was already asleep so I declined and found something else to watch. We slept in so skipped breakfast, I was a little bummed about that. Overall, we were both highly impressed with how clean the entire hotel was and I knew I would be leaving a review for them! We will definitely

Positive: Hotel employees showed care & concern for the issues we faced while staying here. Breakfast was decent, except ALL their bananas were over ripened & bruised. Negative: We arrived at 10pm after a long drive & we were checked into a room that was never cleaned. Hotel employee immediately gave us another room, but we pulled out the sofa bed and it had a dirty used sheet. The bag of extra linens only had a flat sheet & pillow.
