Hyatt House Parsippany/Whippany

Reserved a room type that wasn’t available when we arrived. Given a different type of room pretty close to the lobby. Woken up before 8 AM on a Saturday morning by an incredibly loud party being held in the lobby/breakfast area. Music at the party was so loud that I had to yell in order to be heard at check out. The person who checked us out was nice enough to take 50% off the bill, but given that they are willing to host events like this early in the morning despite the negative impact on paying guests, I would definitely avoid starting here on a weekend.

I stayed at the hotel from November 14 to November 16, 2025, and overall, it was a positive experience. The hotel's location is great, with plenty of food options and shopping nearby. I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who made my stay more enjoyable.||I booked the One Bedroom King Conference Suite, which was clean and well-maintained. The kitchenette was also tidy, and I found the bedding to be comfortable. The conference table, equipped with four chairs, was ideal for holding meetings, and everything in the room functioned perfectly. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, although I did request early check-in. Unfortunately, my room wasn’t ready upon arrival, but I was pleased that the hotel waived the early check-in fee. Positive: Great location. Negative: I was horrified that I had to pay $17+ to park overnight! I have NEVER been expected to pay to park at a a hotel where I was staying. I will not stay here again and I will look much more carefully at the descriptions to be sure parking is included.

Very comfortable room but I would have liked to be asked if a room by elevator was ok instead of having a room with a blocked view right above the entrance for 5 days. Cant understand why you need to pay for parking if not a member. Otherwise we always like staying here very convenient to major roads and restaurants.

Good place for an extended stay. Nice suites for a reasonable rate. Ours had a full sized refrigerator, oven and stove. Enough pots and pans to make a decent meal. The grocery store around the corner is very convenient too. I've stayed here a number of times. I've never had a working ice machine in the room, pretty sure they are not hooked up. Haha, but the lobby has a decent one. Pool is under construction, hopefully will be open for 2026. There were advertisements for a bar with limited food/drinks, but we couldn't find it. Must be in the area under construction. Nevertheless there is plenty of options within 5-10mins of the hotel for food/beverages.
