Customer Reviews
We really enjoyed our stay at the Herald Square Hyatt. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Staff were very helpful. The room was small but but the view of the Empire State Building definitely made up for it! The hotel is centrally located in Korea town with tons of great restaurants and very close to the 34th street station. Overall excellent stay especially for the price.
One of the most valued hotel stay you could find in NYC. For the price to be on the lower end, the hotel has a rooftop bar that overlooks NYC with Empire State building in sight!
Stayed here on my December vacations and I had the best time. The people who work there are just the best, they help us a lot. The bar tender was the best as well as the chefs. Nice, clean rooms. We got to see the Empire State from our building. The location is close to everything, so highly recommended if you are a tourist in the city and wanna walk and grab the subway. I would definitely come back. They made us feel at home, and made sure we had the best time in New York.
Disappointing stay overall. The hotel is currently under renovation, and it really affects the experience. There was a large dumpster right outside the lobby entrance, and one of the elevators was often unavailable because construction workers were using it. With only one elevator running, it took a long time to go up and down. The front desk staff didn’t seem very welcoming, and the late-night staff member in particular came across as quite unfriendly. The room and bathroom were decent but clearly showing their age, especially the bathroom door and some fixtures. Breakfast was also frustrating. There was only one staff member in the breakfast area, and it took almost 20 minutes to get an avocado toast — which unfortunately wasn’t very good. Overall, I’d recommend choosing another Hya
Great location and walkable to many great NYC Christmas spots like Macys, Bryant Park, Rock Ctr, Broadway, etc. Also walkable to Chelsea, Greenwich Village and SoHo. If you’re not a walker, the subway is only 2 blocks away. Hotel is also not far from Penn Station where you can get an Uber shuttle to LaGuardia for far less than other options. Was easy to check my bags at the desk prior to check in and after check out. The lobby was very nicely decorated for Christmas and I especially enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate bar! The bar and lounge area had cool decor and comfy furniture . Although the rooftop bar wasn’t open, it was accessible for catching the amazing view -C”could almost reach out touch the Empire State Building! The room was clean and the bathroom was particularly nice. Keuri
