Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and we were very happy with our experience. The hotel property was very clean, and well maintained. Each staff member that we interacted with during our stay was very nice and friendly. They were even able to store our luggage after checkout because we weren’t due to be at our cruise terminal until a few hours later. ||The hotel is conveniently located across from the beach; you’re able to access the beach through the Loews Hotel across the street. The Hyatt Centric does not have its own gym, but you’re able to access the gym at the Loews Hotel. We didn’t have time to access the gym there, but were happy to have that option which, would be a reason for us staying at the Hyatt Centric again next time we’re down in South Beach. ||The hotel is convenientl

I’ve stayed here before and I have to say that Hyatt is really slipping. The property is still in decent shape. The service in the restaurant is poor. Understaffed in service and probably the kitchen as well. Housekeeping has slipped noticeably. They either didn’t get around to my room or missed areas. Not acceptable. The staff is quite friendly and helpful. I’m staying at the Hyatt Regency Miami now. It’s far worse. Everything is dated and is in need of refurbishment. The whole Hyatt franchise is declining and upper management seems content with this as long as they get their bonuses. Delivering shareholder value is all that counts although that’s something corps love to talk about but almost never do. It’s a diversion to line their pockets. Nice facility and location but food and service were horrible.||I am a Globalist and booked this for my friend and daughter using a Guest of Honor award online. They did not feel like Guests of Honor.||1. Although I texted the hotel to add my friends name to the reservation - they didn't understand?! And she was unable to check in for hours till I called the hotel. They thought I wanted to add the actual Award to the reservation instead of a name...||2. There were 3 in the group and were told there was no upgrade AND they only had rooms with king beds so they all slept in one bed.||3. They were there for a concert and were told it would take 20 mins to get their car from the valet. It took over an hour and they were late to their show.||4. Breakfast took almost an hour as well. Great position of hotel, 5 min from beach, we had breakfast included, towels and 2 beds for the beach as well. Coffee machine and water bottles are in your room. View is amazing, clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Personal of hotel is polite and attentive. Very close beach, to stores, pharmacies, restaurants, central roads , walking around. Recommend if you are in Maiami.
