Howard Johnson by Wyndham Tropical Palms Kissimmee

We had room 253.||||This was one of the least expensive hotels in Kissimmee with a decent rating so we weren't expecting luxury and of course didn't get it. We only needed a room for one night, though, and this was comfortable and clean. And everything worked.||||Pros: Friendly man at the front desk who was pretty busy when we arrived. Good location with many restaurants and stores in the area. The shower worked well and there was a hair dryer. Also included was a small fridge and microwave. Shampoo and bar soap were provided but that was all. There was a separate chair and desk, the beds were very comfortable with 3 pillows per bed. There were no blankets at all ON the beds but blankets were provided and folded on top of the clothing rack. TV was adequate. Iron and ironing boar

Horrible place ! Do not stay. If I could Give 0 I would . I booked and paid this property for a weekend stay with my kids upon getting there my family member room was a disaster and they had no mantainence available 2 times we called them. I did not do my check in yet so I tried to get a refund due too all my family’s not staying because of the well being of the property they said I had to call Expedia that they cannot help us with refund sense I had already paid mind you I paid over 2 weeks ago for my stay and never did the check in, Expedia try’s to contact them and they say no manager is on site to resolve this issue . Also I’m calling them my self and phone goes to a voicemail no answer . Save yourself some time and trouble it’s 10:39 mind you with kids in the car.

If I could give them a -100 I would for their terrible service. We flew in from NJ, got there to check in and they had given away our room. They gave us some kind of BS story, when you book through 3rd party it's not guaranteed even though we had a reservation confirmation number.

Tryed to charge me 750 dollars for room cleaning said I smoked in room I dnt smoke no TV there TV were down

Room smelled clean upon entering. Outdated decor, but pretty clean. Tub and sink showing a lot of wear, but clean. Bed is comfortable. Furniture is a little worn, but seems clean. Tile floors instead of carpet, which makes it seem cleaner as well. Asked for extra towels and coffee, which the front desk was very generous with. Not the nicest hotel I've stayed in, but not the worst either.
