Howard Johnson by Wyndham St. George Hotel & Suites

This was the absolute worst hotel experience. We were told we could not check in early because they had to clean the room. Totally understandable and the location is in a great place and allows many options for food, snacks and Walmart is not far so we ran some errands. However, the room had NOT been cleaned at all. There was literal feces left on the floor behind the toilet. There was hair, boogers and tucked in with all of the bedding and several spots of something smeared on some of the walls. Dust bunnies several inches long hung from the majority of the walls and several spaces on the ceiling. I am not sure what is going on with their air but the entire room is musty and changes the feel of your own clothing and belongings, everything felt dingy and gross after an hour of being in the

This hotel run by Indian management. Locations is ok. We got a small towel and very old. We asked for a small towel for cover head after wash hair but they not give us. They said they don’t want customer wash hairs in the their room. Free breakfast is below than standard because they provided boiled egg and banana.

Positive: The location of the hotel was very convenient, not too far off the freeway and close to restaurants and stores. We did like that the room had a microwave and fridge. Negative: Not very clean. Hotel towels were very old and dingy, the towels looked like old rag towels that have been used for mopping floors and then washed and folded for guests to use.

I will NEVER stay here again, nor will I recommend this disgusting hotel to anyone. Our room was absolutely filthy when we arrived. There was gunk on the wall next to the light switch for the vanity. Light switches were filthy dirty. The door frame into the bathroom was filthy with hair stuck on the wall. The towels were so worn and thin and dingy you couldn't call them towels. We went and bought towels for our family to use. There was some un-known (don't want to know) stuff by the toilet. The bathroom door it self was filthy. There floor was disgustingly dirty. There was gunk on the walls by the beds. The beds were gross, the sheets dingy and had hair on them. The pillows smelled of body odor (thank heavens we had our own. I am betting those pillow cases were not clean based on the

The location is good, near plenty of restaurants and the St. George lds temple. For sports, many events are within a few minutes of the hotel. The man who did check in was kind and helpful. Breakfast options were bagel, 2 cereals, roast, banana, boiled egg, and juice. Compared to other locations nearby, the breakfast is fine but not the same as you would find in other spots. The rooms are 2-3 stars as the showers are older but they have tv, fridge, and beds. Paint in the rooms looks like it was redone by DIY and the bedding was not the cleanest. If you need a quick place to stay and don’t spend much time in the rooms looks, it’s fine. If you’re looking for more comfort or luxury, this isn’t the place for you.
