We had such a great stay at Hotel Zindel! The location is perfect super convenient to bars and restaurants, everything was within walking distance which made the trip so easy and fun. Stephanie at the front desk was amazing. She was very attentive, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She really made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back!
Pros: The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's in a great location for nightlife and good restaurants. Little Italy is fun and lovely. ||Cons: check in is it 4:00 p.m. That's a little late but not really that bad.. however, check out is at 10:00 a.m. and they will come and knock on your door at 9:30 in the morning on New Year's Day. That's unreasonably early in my book.
We had a wonderful weekend stay at Zindel in Little Italy. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The gentleman at the front desk went above and beyond by helping carry our bags up the stairs, which we truly appreciated. The stocked fridge in the common area was such a thoughtful touch, especially the cold bottled waters that were very much needed. The location is perfect: walking distance to Little Italy and all the amazing restaurants, yet the hotel itself remained quiet and peaceful despite being fully booked. Our room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The staff was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, especially when we accidentally locked our keys in the safe. Housekeeping was also
We had a great experience staying at the Zindel. The location was within walking distance to Little Italy restaurants which was a definite plus. Nice updated bath and kitchenette was convenient. Our bed was very comfortable. We would stay again!
I absolutely LOVED this boutique hotel. So unique! I actually wanted to stay here when I first got into San Diego, but I was unable to book last minute probably because it was a Saturday night. So on the way out Monday night I was able to book for that night and I actually got a great deal. This place met all of my immediate needs since I was having to transport medication back with me that needed to be refrigerated. The room I booked was a king size room and had a little kitchenette which had a refrigerator and then they had an open communal shared space with a pool table (how cool) Some small breakfast items a nice coffee machine if you don’t have time to explore one of the local cafés and a full-size refrigerator, which was great. I needed to refreeze all of my ice packs for travel the
