Hotel Vermont

We have been staying weekends here for 3 years. Cozy atmosphere in the restaurant, lobby fireplace, and in our room that fits all 5 of us! We love the coffee/ tea / water station on the floors- also apples! They have events like live music , smores on balcony, puzzle in lobby :) Thanksgiving meal was delicious at juniper. Next door to hen of the woods, delicious restaurant, must try! And walkable to kick off Burlington including pedestrian church st! Only negative i can think of is I've noticed less snacks at the front desk (used to have cookies, donuts. Local granola bas... now just caramels)

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Vermont hotel, and the customer service alone deserves a five-star review. When our flight was unexpectedly cancelled and we were stuck in Burlington for an additional 10 hours, the staff went above and beyond without hesitation—graciously offering us an extended checkout that completely took the stress out of an already frustrating situation. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made us feel so well cared for throughout our stay. The restaurant on site was another highlight—fantastic breakfast options to start the day and equally impressive dinner. We've been making our way around the Burlington hotels as part of our regular UVM parent runs. Hotel Vermont is a standout so far, and miles above the adjacent Champlain and Marriott hotels for what could be around the same room rates, if you look for off season or book early. Service, ambiance, lobby, restaurant - all fabulous. We loved the Hotel Vermont. We got a great AAA rate the night before check in for the start of the 2nd semester. I'm sure it's pricier in October but off season it's a fairly affordable gem.

If you’re thinking of booking it- DO IT!!! Excellent on all points- staff was over the top friendly and helpful, the rooms and amenities very clean and cozy features everywhere you look! The unique design throughout hotel was nice, water, teas and coffee bar on each floor and the outdoor terrace with fire pits were so cozy! Juniper for cocktails, apps and the best honey pot espresso was so nice to have without leaving the hotel. I even left behind an expensive jacket and they had it and mailing it back to me- 5 starts all around!
