Dubuque Lane Guest House

We all really enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. The open rooms were very well laid out, and the art both inside and outside was extremely interesting and fun to look at. The location is a few minutes drive away from downtown Burlington, but across the bridge from the guest house is a really nice spot with some fun nightlife, breweries (Four Quarters!), and restaurants. We saw the owners in passing a few times and they seemed very nice. Overall a very impressive place to stay, and we'll definitely try to come back if we visit again!

My husband and I stayed here in July during a quick trip to Burlington. The apartment is nicely situated just outside of downtown Burlington. We easily caught the city bus to get back and forth, leaving our car at the apartment. I would consider this more of an apartment rental than a bed and breakfast but don't let that deter you! The guest house is a very large studio apartment with a full kitchen and nicely appointed bathroom. It's just upstairs from the owners, who are there if you need anything. The apartment is uniquely decorated with the most wonderful art pieces and the style is fun and enjoyable. The apartment has all the modern conveniences and was incredibly clean and nicely updated. I highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Burlington, VT. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with his sister and husband and it was wonderful. The guest house is artfully decorated and immaculately clean and new! The kitchen was stocked with cookware and utensils which was great for cooking dinner. I loved sitting on the front deck in the morning with a cup of tea and the paper. The owners were very friendly and down to earth. They provided us with coffee, tea, fruit, granola and milk which was great for breakfast. It was a 5 minute drive to Church Street Marketplace which was nice and convenient. We stayed here for 3 nights in late July to get away from home and work, and to explore the Burlington area for the first time. The wonderful owners of this oasis need to find some more potential guest suites to renovate! They thought of every comfort and provided wonderful local foods for breakfast and snacking. The art in the loft was inspiring, the colors used in decorating were soothing, and the deck and gardens relaxing. The location offers easy access to all Burlington and Winooski have to offer. We will mention our wonderful experience to all who are planning a trip to this area!

We needed a place for one night and found this place, in Burlington but not in the heart of downtown. Very convenient to get to by car, and quiet. The apt we stayed in was lovely and very comfortable. Great furniture, artfully decorated, very comfortable bed and bedding. They had breakfast foods in the fridge, mostly locally sourced foods, fruit, etc. The owners were very nice and fruendly. We had a lovely stay there and highly recommend it.
