Hotel Switzerland

Okay, I loved the area and the people. I didn’t like that I had to book through the bartender for a hotel room #1. #2 I stayed in room 6, where there is no bathroom. There is apparently a bathroom on the same floor that is shared but I think that should have been clear and clarified. But okay. My husband and i woke up to several ants in our bed and other things. We were mostly disappointed and grossed out by that. We tried to call and email the hotel manager with no response. Honestly i just feel like the hotel manager and staff don’t care about their customers. I wouldn’t recommend staying here……

This quirky hotel was above molly maguires pub amongst the hustle and bustle of the unique town ofJim thorpe. We stayed in suite 4 and it was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, high ceilings, cool views and lots of charm! The room was immaculate and well cared for and the staff were super friendly. You check-in in the restaurant and they show you where you enter the hotel. We definitely recommend The Hotel Switzerland for its uniqueness and value the next time you visit Jim Thorpe!

A Wonderful Stay!!!!Just spent a weekend away with my husband in Jim Thorpe. The hotel is located right in the heart of Jim Thorpe, walking distance from all the restaurants, cafes, and unique stores. The hotel is nestled above Molly Maguire's pub, but you wouldn't know it, as it was extremely quiet and in the hotel, you would never know there was a bar so close. Molly Maguire's is also worth checking out too. :) Just to note, after accessing the hotel, you do go up a flight of stairs. Our room at Hotel Switzerland was warm and charming; the room was amazingly lit with natural light through the tall windows. It also had an en-suite bathroom. The Hotel Switzerland provided us with a lovely stay in Jim Thorpe. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was located on the third floor and the hotel has no elevator, so plan accordingly. The rooms are on the second and third floor of the building with a lovely Irish bar on the ground floor. We had a room that required us to share the bath with the other rooms on our floor, but that was never a problem, and we rarely saw the other residents of our floor. | |Parking for the hotel is either on the street or at the train station lot across the road. Parking can be tight during peak times on weekends and pretty much anytime in October when the leafs are turning. You can park in the train station lot for free from 6 pm to 9 am and then an all-day parking session is $15. You can pay for

My boyfriend and I just checked out , we only stayed for one night. It was better than expected. It had charm, character and warmth. (The heat was on HI Blast and I wish I could have turned it off - but other than that - I’d definitely go back Pam (using my sons google account)
