Hotel Seville NoMad - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Absolute terrible hotel checked in our room and it is on the 11th floor and faces a brick wall even though we have status with Hyatt. Staff actually does not care about anything. The lobby bar is under construction. We were never told that when booking. Cheap drapes trying to cover up construction is extremely tacky. Tuesday night tried to walk into the Seville bar which they advertise all over their website and make it look like it’s part of their hotel. Come to find out it’s not… the bar is dead. They would not let anyone in, saying they’re not taking any more walk-ins (on a Tuesday?) This place is an absolute joke and I hope this review helps others to not ever stay here. This is making me rethink of ever staying in another Hyatt ever again.

Extremely Disappointing & Invasive Experience I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly unacceptable. On multiple occasions in the morning, hotel staff used a key card to enter my room without knocking or obtaining permission, while I was still inside. This didn’t happen just once — it happened more than once. Having someone enter your room unexpectedly while you’re inside is not just uncomfortable, it’s a serious violation of privacy and basic safety expectations. No guest should ever have to experience that. Additionally, I requested slippers from the front desk, and it took an entire day for them to be delivered. Cannot recommend enough against staying here, as this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a Hyatt property. I almost always stay at the Hyatt House Chelsea on 28th/6th, but decided to change it up this time, and that was a big mistake. The room was not fully cleaned and had a spider on the wall when I checked in, so I asked to change rooms. Then, the next morning, I receive a call telling me that I have to immediately changes rooms because the room I was currently in was going in to repairs during my stay. What? If this was known, why was I even placed in that room? The staff clearly does not communicate with each other due to poor hotel management. Guests should not have to change rooms after checking in. Stayed for 6 nights in December, fantastic base for exploring NYC. We had a suite and the room was big, slightly dated but full of character. Comfy bed and good shower. We liked the bar area, overlooking Empire State building and the fruit, teas and coffees in the morning were a nice touch. The little gym on floor 3 was good and he really quiet. ||We did have to ask for extra bedding for the sofa bed twice, and the sofa bed was not very comfortable but other than that we thought this was a great hotel
