Hotel Ocean South Beach

Transfered to this hotel after a less than impressive stay at another hotel a few blocks along Ocean Drive. The hotel was a huge step up. The room was great, clean comfortable (lovely bed) and the staff could not have been nicer. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The on site restaurant was lovely. The portions were big so they allowed us to share dishes which was very much appreciated. The waiting staff were super friendly and we got a discount for being hotel guests. The evening entertainment with Luis and his dancers were a highlight. When we visit Miami again Hotel Ocean will be our accommodation of choice.

My husband Harris-El met friends to celebrate his birthday. We stayed in room 504 which was a great roomie roomie and excellent view of the beach. The hotel staff were great! Special thanks to Daphne and Kayra !This trip would have been excellent but our friend left his bag with new pants in room 211 and when he went back to get it after check out it was gone and the room had been cleaned. Was told it wasn’t there.

First time staying. Booked based on good reviews for clean rooms. The hotel, restaurant and awesome staff offered so much more. Phenomenal food - the lobster ravioli was a perfect bite, I believe it is the best dish I have ever had, and trust me, I'm a woman who loves food! Though, truthfully, everything we ate on the menu was awesome. The rooms were clean, the beds incredibly comfortable and the staff was beyond terrific. Friendly and helpful, which is hard to find in this day and age! Highly recommend and very much looking forward to a return trip and stay at Hotel Ocean in South Beach

Positive: Location Negative: The washroom did not have a door and the washroom lights did not work. When we called staff they said someone would be sent up but no one was. There was ants and bug in the room as well

We had a bad experience, unfortunately. Check-in time is supposed to be 4 PM (which feels late to begin with), but upon arrival our room was not ready until 5 PM. There was another couple who arrived right after us and waited even longer. The staff were not very apologetic or polite about it, either. The location is good but comes with a caveat. BRING EARPLUGS to use for sleep, as the window soundproofing is terrible and there’s a bar playing live music and karaoke right outside. It’s extremely loud until 1 AM on weekends and impossible to sleep otherwise. The air conditioning unit is also very loud. The rooms are large but very dated. There are no amenities. Easy access to the beach is the biggest selling point, and the value for money was decent, but I wouldn’t stay here again and woul
