Hotel Mulberry

Great hotel! Checking in & out was easy and convenient. Each employee we encountered was super helpful and kind. It was a nice perk that we were able to leave our bags after check-out and come back later in the day to pick them up. Our room had a comfy bed, nice, firm pillows, and an updated bathroom. Fresh towels every day. Fridge and safe included in the room. We will definitely be staying at the Hotel Mulberry again. If you are taking the subway to the hotel, the walk is about 10 minutes. You will be offered to buy a purse or jewelry every 10 feet. Take it as part of the experience of staying in Chinatown. The hotel is directly across Columbus Park, making the area quiet and relaxing. Safety was never a concern.

We love Hotel Mulberry. Room are large and clean, staff is friendly, hotel is in a great location right on the edge of Chinatown and FiDi. There's no frills, no lobby, but it has a great vibe overall -- and the park across the street adds to it all with older people doing Tai Chi each morning. This was our third time there and we'll be back.

The front desk staff was amazing quick, friendly, and very accommodating. They explained everything clearly and even let us leave our luggage at the hotel before check in time, which was super convenient. Our room was great clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. My only small suggestion would be to add a mini fridge, but that’s really the only thing missing. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful throughout our stay. The location was also perfect close to everything we wanted to see and do, which made getting around super easy. Even after we checked out, the staff allowed us to store our luggage until later in the evening, which made exploring the city so much easier. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would happily book again if I’m in the area!

Really functional, no frills, quite, good location.

A quiet spot in Chinatown, right across a small park. Easy to get pretty much anywhere, walking through Chinatown and Little Italy, with Soho around the corner, subway and bus are nearby. Clean room, nice size bathroom, comfy large bed. Nice staff. There’s a fridge, and a kettle to boil water. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning. Many markets nearby, fresh fruit just down the street. One improvement i would like to suggest: find a way to block out the light from the hall when it’s dark. Currently it’s visible all along the frame of the door.
