Hotel Kitsmiller on Main

I will start by saying that I don’t like hotels. It takes me forever to fall asleep in them. I am giving this small, older hotel that is more like what you would see in the 50’s with little attached carports for some of the rooms, 5 stars, because it felt more like a cabin than a hotel. It was homey and comfortable. Is it old and can you tell it’s old, yes, but it felt like going to visit old family. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. It has a wall mount home type A/C which worked very well also. The staff were friendly and courteous. I did not require any kind of room service, so I can’t comment on that. The location was right there close to anything you want to do in town and it wasn’t stupid expensive. If I am ever out that way again, I will stay there again.

This hotel was SO NICE. It was incredibly clean, and we even felt comfortable enough to let our baby crawl around. The location is also unbeatable. It’s right off main and about a city block walk from marketplatz. When we come back, we will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

Charmingly rustic. Nothing fancy. Clean. The necessary motel amenities, plus a vintage vinyl record store in the office. ||Happy Camper!

Positive: I mean it’s a budget motel so I knew what I was getting. Room was decorated cool. I liked being able to park right in front of the room. Negative: Shower area needs updating.

No issues picking up key at reception after having a reservation. Small single room with parking for one vehicle per room. Everything clean except restroom sink had some hair. Everything working properly. Wall A/C. The room was right next to the main street and can hear all passing vehicles when trying to sleep.
