Hotel Jerome, Auberge Collection

My best friend and I just got back from Hotel Jerome, and we had the most lovely experience! From the moment we landed to the moment we left. The hotel has the most "Aspen" feel; the staff is so kind; the room is cozy; the food is delicious; and the location is prime! Perfect spot to stay, whether you just want to après and explore the town, or plan on skiing every day.

This is the best hotel. So many complimentary amenities, welcome cocktails,24/7 hot tub pool, endless eco friendly water, great spa products, the cool bathtub amenities are complimentary, cool Felix pods in room. I cannot recommend this hotel more. It’s a true destination & very generous with guests. The breakfast steak with black pepper gravy & actually the whole savory breakfast menu is a masterpiece. I preferred eating it in the restaurant because it came out extra delicious but in room dining was just as delicious.

The hotel was very luxurious with a unique old west theme. Staff were courteous and genuinely friendly. Each restaurant had exquisite cuisine, perhaps the best in town. The rooms were quiet and spacious, however, our bed and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. Lastly, there was an incident near the end of our stay in which a bag of our souvenirs went missing, however, management swiftly responded and we were duly reimbursed for both our loss and inconvenience. Hotel Jerome is a breath of fresh air when it comes to excellent service in a service dwindling world.

I am amending my review at this point. My husband spoke to the manager at the hotel and told him about our complaints. He was incredibly understanding and accommodating. He worked out a very fair refund of some of the cost. I thank him for that. Unfortunately, this hotel did not live up to my expectations. I only booked because it was an old authentic place from the 1800s and we got put in the new wing which had no charm. For 2500 to 3000 per night!!! It felt like a glorified motel. The towels were thin and rough. There was no fruit bowl in the room as there usually is in a 5 star Auberge hotel. The bars were packed and no reservations taken even if you're a guest at the hotel. Hotel Jerome is an absolute Aspen mood! The decor is stunning—think vintage western-chic meets high-end luxury. The service was amazing and made us feel like total VIPs from the second we walked in. If you want that classic, cozy-yet-cool Aspen vibe, this is the spot. Can’t wait to go back!
