Hotel Iris

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room smelled strongly like cigarette smoke the entire time, even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The jetted tub was visibly dirty with brown stains, grime buildup, and debris around the drain. It clearly had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. There was mold on the wall, which is completely unacceptable and a health concern. The overall cleanliness of the room was far below basic standards. To make things worse, the photos on the website do not match the actual condition of the property. The room looked nothing like what was advertised online. The hotel is super ugly I booked because of all the good reviews I read. And the pics looked so sharp and beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, our room has a cracked ceiling it had no water to drink, the carpet is so nasty 🤮 and the beds are super scratched and there’s no dryer or coffee for the morning coffee. I believe, when I booked it said free breakfast but there’s no breakfast available neither. Theirs not enough space container to put your makeup or toothbrush also there’s no iron or hair dryer. It’s so sad that we drove over 7 hours for a good relaxing stay and it was nothing of that I feel so uncomfortable being here. 😪 and it’s not refundable. I booked for 3 nights n only been here a couple hours. Plus they charged be $8 extra for each night the guy said was for services not sure

Positive: Nothing really. Negative: check-in later in the night was thru a small opening at the bottom of window. Unable to understand or hear staff.Towels were more like rags.Bathroom old and grunchy. Looked dirty.

I was surprised when I got to the room. Excellent customer service from the gentleman in the lobby. Had patience with me with the deposit 😁. I really appreciate this place. One of a kind. BLOWN AWAY!!! Deserves to come and experience this place to stay family friendly and absolutely beautiful. 10+/10.

Gets the job done, as long as you're just looking for a cheap spot to crash! That said, keep in mind that the place feels quite icky/"janky" and the room could use a lot of TLC; floorboards lifting, baseboard wasn't attached to the floor, broken light fixtures, peeling veneer and leather, stains...even the shower faucet didnt work completely. Many room pictures here are overly flattering. If you just need a place to crash and this is the cheapest around, by all means, it'll do. If rooms are >100 or you're looking for a place thats comfortable, I recommend passing. Wasn't expecting much given how cheap my stay was, just don't feel justified in giving this higher than 2/5.
