Gabriele made my entire stay wonderful. He was able to upgrade me with a view of the Petcopark and was extremely knowledgeable to a tourist like myself. I loved being able to easily walk around town. All staff were extremely friendly. Only thing I wish was someone answered the phone for room service but that didn't put a damper on my stay. I can't wait for my next visit!

Hotel Indigo Gaslamp District San Diego has an unbeatable location right by the baseball stadium. Most of the staff were great, and Skylar especially stood out—helpful, personable, and a joy every time I interacted with him. Helena seemed a bit rushed and snappy when I asked for help, but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt that it may have just been a tough day. Rooms are modern and comfortable, though water stocking was inconsistent, and valet parking is pricey with limited space to unload.||The rooftop bar has amazing views and delicious drinks, though food options (like chips and salsa) could be improved. Breakfast staff was excellent, and the burger was definitely a highlight. Expect lines at check-in and valet since the hotel stays busy, but that’s the tradeoff for the location.||Over

This hotel exceeded expectations on the pet friendly scale. As travelers with 2 pups in tow, we are always on the hunt for a nice big dog friendly spot to stay with a reasonable pet fee. First, location is prime near Petco Park and is an easy walk to anything. They have valet which is $64 daily in/out privileges but they are also nice enough to recommend close/secure lots for half that price if you want to self park. The valet team are rockstars and super welcoming and genuinely nice. Front desk, just as great as the Valet team. On checkin they printed us a dog friendly info packet that was super helpful. Pet fee is only $100 per stay (both pets) and is so reasonable . Our room was on the 10th floor and facing downtown with a nice view. Clean and super comfortable and surprisingly

I was incredibly impressed by the Front Desk Agent, Courtney. He was personable, and courteous. I really appreciated his service. The location is fantastic (obviously), and the rooms are beyond comfortable and clean. Very appreciative to have my go to hotel for Padres games and downtown leisure. Cheers, thank you again for a great stay. --- Would like to see more recognition for my membership status though. Only gripe!

Check in time is 4:00. Our room wasn’t ready until 7:30. We were told we would get a text- we didn’t. We just happened to check at 7:30 and it was just finished. The fact that the amenity fee wasn’t waived is insane. We went to the roof top bar to check it out. We had dessert from down the street. Waitress said we couldn’t have outside food but she would “ let it slide if we ordered a drink.” We had breakfast and it took about an hour from when we sat down to when we got food. We had eggs and the restaurant was not busy. Also- $65 a night mandatory valet parking is insane. So even though I paid with reward points- I still got charged $200 for amenities and parking for two nights. Not at all worth it. Will not stay again- will not recommend.
