I traveled with my husband and my 8 and 9 year old. I think the rooms are more geared towards single people looking for a quick cheap stay. The rooms are small. The booking says it sleeps 4 on 2 doubles which I guess I'm used to having 2 queens when staying in a hotel so it was small for me. If you sleep on your back, are thin and don't move alot then these beds might be okay for 2 people. The beds feel like an old spring mattress and the pillows are not fuffy. The room itself is on the smaller side, so if you're staying for more than one night with alot of bags your room is going to be extra crammed. There's tiny mini fridge, but theres a small safe and an armoire to hang stuff in. There's a full-length mirror and iron board in the room. The furniture is a bit beat, not closing completely

The rooms are extremely small, and we quickly learned the heat does not work. The door to the room furnace was partially open, so after realizing the heat was not on despite the thermostat being set to 79, we opened the door and found a light switch (you read that right!). We flipped the switch and the heat came on and quickly heated the room to 80! We adjusted the fan on the thermostat to Auto and it quit working again. We told the front desk and they said engineering was gone for the day so gave us a space heater and extra blankets. They supposedly sent engineering the next day but it still wasn’t fixed. The switch in question is undoubtedly against code, and I am sure fire safety would not approve is electric space heaters in rooms! The other party we traveled with had the same problem.

Fantastic location, within walking distance to several subway stations. Lobby clean and bright with tasteful holiday decorations. Staff friendly. Breakfast was a little limited by choice but what was on offer was fresh and tasty, decent cup of tea (which is so difficult to find in the States) which as a Brit is incredibly important!!|Room was spacious but the bathroom was a little cramped. Excellent selection of channels, wifi was reliable and fast.|The toiletries were fabulous and definitely added extra kudos to the stay.|All in all a more than decent hotel, decor in places dated and could use upgrading but with so much to offer and do in the vicinity this didn’t take anything away from a wonderful city.

It’s a hot summer and the room is hot. It’s not warm, it’s hot. The AC doesn’t work, and apparently hasn’t been working fundamentally for almost a year. I asked for a fan for 4 days and they finally gave me a small fan that doesn’t work! It’s a tiny fan dub as a heater, and there’s no wind coming out. My room was over 84F. The engineers were not helpful, however they really tried and they were so much nicer than the receptionist. The rooms are spacious, and I have to say the staffs are trying and most are nice. The front desk however was quite rude. But with the quality of the breakfast, which doesn’t even have toasts or cornflakes, I’m not sure how this hotel has 4 stars. With the money paid, it’s really not worth it. With the same money you can stay at somewhere 3 stars and better. I’ve as

Fine. Mid. Average. Acceptable. Hotel is in a great location but it's pretty basic. Rooms are exceptionally basic. We had 3 regular sized pillows on a relatively stiff king-bed with a single fleece blanket (with a sheet under and over it). No comforter, no additional pillows (not three queen or king size pillows, 3 standard pillows). The windows are pretty thin so you hear lots of street noise. I thought the window was open at first but no, they're just not very sound-proof. Everything else was fine...acceptable if you're crashing for a night, not great if you're going to stay a while. There are much worse hotels, but there are also much better ones.
