Hotel GiGi is a great value. Great location right downtown. The host Rita and the manager were very nice and accommodating. Clean room, comfy bed. Also no hospitality TVs which is nice if you want to cast your phone to the tv. If possible I'd book directly through the as opposed to a service like Expedia. Being a staffless hotel things are a little different and Expedia gets things wrong as far as check in details and such. Overall pretty nice and would definitely stay again.
I stayed at Hotel Gigi for three nights while attending a conference. Although I was a bit apprehensive at first, the stay turned out to be perfectly fine. The room might be a bit tight for a couple, but it’s manageable for one person. The hotel has no front and provides housekeeping when requested 24 hours in advance.||The room featured a basin (with liquid hand soap provided), a small but separate bathroom with a shower stall, and an all-in-one shampoo/shower gel. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked efficiently, and the WiFi was fast. The TV was quite new, and I primarily used it to stream YouTube. ||The hotel is centrally located, just under ten minutes from the Padres stadium and about 17 minutes from the convention center. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel entrance. While I
The location is awesome, with a lot of restaurants and a baseball stadium in vicinity. Room has a window but just for the namesake. Bathroom is okay for the price I paid. AC is functional. There is no front desk, so can't even talk to anyone there. I didn't see anyone during my stay.Rooms are separated by cardboard or something; can hear other people walking, but personally I was not disturbed by anyone. If you want a bed, bathroom in a nice location with least disturbance, you would not be disappointed.
Service staff member was really nice and helpful. There was an error with our code to our room and he fixed it asap. He was also very informative about where to park and locations to visit during our stay. The rooms are a bit small but you get what you pay for plus the price is great for its location.
Honestly for being only 2 blocks away from the venue we were going to it was perfect.the room was perfectly sized to just chill and catch some z and then head home.super accommodating, especially since I booked it at 12:30am the day of.im assuming it was Rita I was talking to with all my questions and she was absolutely wonderful.if you ever have any issues leave them a voice message and they get back to you pretty quickly.definitely keeping this place in my back pocket for future concerts down here.only thing that was negative was if your like my with ocd with bed sheets,I definitely recommend bringing your own but I do that with all hotels regardless.but a really cute place and great pricing for being in the heart of downtown.thank you guys so much for having us.we really appreciated ever
