Hotel Five44

We stayed at hotel Five44 on our recent trip to NYC. For any future trips to NYC, I will be checking availability at hotel Five44 first. Rooms were clean and safe. Staff was great. Location could not have been any better. Never once did we feel unsafe in the area. Hells Kitchen is a beautiful and vibrant area of the city. I highly recommend Five44 as a great place to stay

I will be honest, I booked this hotel (through booking.com) purely based on price and location. I couldn't believe that I could get a room for 3 adults for 4 nights so close to Times' Square in the 2 weeks before xmas for under £600. I thought it might be too good to be true and right up until we booked in, was worried they would want more money, not recognise the booking or cancel on us but I was pleasantly surprised. ||First off, the location is superb - just far enough out of Times Square to be able to relax because Times Square is chaos, but still within 15-20 minute walk. The area felt totally safe walking back at 11pm each night with my wife and daughter. On arrival we were met by Michele who was very welcoming and friendly. Check in was easy and he carried one of our cases upstairs

Yes, indeed it is not a 5-star hotel, but we only went there to sleep. It was perfect for our needs. It is in an excellent location, offers great value for money, and the staff were always extremely kind and helpful.

I've gave it five stars, it's not a five star hotel per say. But the location is excellent, room was clean, bed was comfy, fridge microwave kitchen utensils available for use. Definitely value for money

Great place, our host - Miguel - was really friendly. Nice to stay for a city trip, simple but great stay! Close to the city center and in a nice neighborhood. Definitely coming back to this hotel!
