We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Charlotte! From the moment we arrived, the owner was absolutely wonderful, so welcoming, informative, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. You can tell they really care about making sure guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The town of Groveland itself was such a fun place to explore! Everyone we met was super friendly and eager to share local recommendations. One highlight was stopping by the Iron Door Saloon, the oldest saloon in California. Finn told us to check it out, and we’re so glad we did! The hotel has so much character, and it’s perfectly located for day trips to Yosemite and all the beautiful surrounding spots. This was my second stay, and once again the outstanding service and genuine care from the owners truly stood out. The rooms may be “gold-era” sized, but they are spotless and very comfortable. I especially appreciate the shared lobby amenities like the fridge, freezer, microwave, and the 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The property is well kept, with solid Dish TV and WiFi.

We group of 10 from India - had dinner break at this hotel. Staff from restobar was awesome, courteous and kind and very professional. We enjoyed food. It was delicious. Ambience is super nice. Thank you team. Keep it up. Hope to see you soon again.😍

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with elegant details everywhere you look. The staff were very attentive and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. My room was cozy, spotless, and had a wonderful blend of classic style and comfort. The location is perfect, close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay.

Amazing old-style hôtel, super close to Yosemite! The staff is super nice, there is a small breakfast provided, the room was super cute. We truly felt like we were back in 1921 !
