Hotel Blue Baytown

I have stated this hotel property on and off for a while now. ||||One thing I could tell you is that some of the rooms smell like mole or something else? The owner is trying. He is trying to clean up a little bit but it is getting to the point to where it might be a goal or no goal when I come to town. There are other properties in the city that are cleaner and smell better. ||||But to each his own sometimes you can afford it. Sometimes you can't.

Not a place we will be going back to. I didn't get very much sleep because of people outside all night long makeing noise and knocking on doors all times of the night. Not a place to take your family.

Don't expect a sustainable breakfast. Just cold cereal. Instant oatmeal. Reasonable room rates. Older motel but clean and friendly staff.

Ok I was surprised a bit that it wasn't the worse I was expecting. Had a room booked at Candlewood suites, but upon arriving we found out they gave our room away and everything else was booked up or 200 a night, so my husband wanted to try Super 8. I didn't. I know the reputations they are known for. Well this one had hardwood floors instead of nasty carpets, full fridge and their lights that were nice and bright inside and the parking lot was lit up bright. Beds were comfortable and front desk clerk was nice and pleasant .There were a couple things though, the room had a musty smell from probably smoking in room, dirty floors and stained pillow cases and sheets. If they got a good cordless vac to get into corners, moped floors with bleach water to get rid of musty smell, and use 2 oz of
