Hotel Ballard

My husband and I booked a room at Hotel Ballard for our wedding, and we enjoyed our stay so much! Our venue was just a block away, making the hotel the perfect spot to get ready. We booked a suite, and it was spacious enough for us to chill and get ready before the big night. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was so pleasant and luxurious. The huge soaking tub was wonderful, and the cherry on top of a great stay!

Clean, well appointed, spacious rooms in an excellent location. It’s on antrendy street in Ballard with great shops so parking can be a bit tricky if not using the hotel lot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sunday Farmer’s Market right outside the door which is wonderful. Highly recommend.

I stayed at the old bank building Ballard Inn and it was great! Such a quaint building. The room I stayed in was a twin with shared bathroom and I must say it was comfortable and clean and worth the money I spent. I slept soundly and woke up refreshed. The only downside was the tv channel selection but I was really just there to sleep soundly it was fine.

We’re on an extended road trip, so was hoping to splurge on this small bit of luxury. Room and hotel are both beautiful, but I’m giving 1 star for two reasons. First, there is no hot water. Obviously disappointing, especially in a room with a huge soaker tub. Second, and more importantly, the response from staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. I was told there was nothing they could do until late morning when maintenance arrives, despite the fact we’re leaving the hotel by 8am. There was also no apology, and no effort to make things right. I get that things happen, and it’s very early, so it’s understandable that there’s no maintenance person available. But to respond to our situation with a shrug and ‘tough luck’, when we paid over $350 for the room is unacceptable. Find another pla

I am really sad I need to leave this review. I had a family member staying here, as I have recommended many friends, family and colleagues to do the same over the years. They got really sick, and with just hours too late begged the hotel to let the RESCHEDULE their stay, not cancel. No luck from the hotel manager. Then, they wouldn't let the room be transferred so I could at least use it - take the kids after dinner or something - as it was now cash down the drain. NOPE. Really nice way to treat loyal customers. I'm sorely disappointed that this business gets to call Ballard home, now.
