Hotel Astor - Roami

Pros: very close to ocean Drive and the beach. Easy walk to many restaurants, bars, clubs and the beach. Reasonably priced and relatively clean. Safe secure premises. Cons: Third floor walk up. No lift. No amenities. Dreadful lighting. Although prominently posted no smoking in the room, the building often reeked of marijuana. Spotty Internet and television reception.

I made a solo booking here, and it exceeded my expectations! The amenities included a beautiful view, welcoming staff, immaculate rooms, and much more. My experience was very positive.

Do not book at this place, I had an horrible experience!! A man came in my unit while I was undressed. He apologized and claimed he went to the wrong room, but I was furious Why on earth would he have the code to my unit. After I reported the incident They refused to give me a refund. It was my birthday and I just wanted to relax. Worst experience ever!!

I had a really good time at this place! The staff was super friendly, and they were really helpful. Plus, it was clean, which is a big deal for me because of my allergy.
