Hotel Americana

I recently booked a one-night stay at Hotel Americana in Nogales, Arizona, and I was genuinely impressed. This is clearly an older hotel, but it is extremely well-maintained—everything from the building to the rooms shows careful, consistent upkeep. The maintenance team is meticulous, and housekeeping does an exceptional job. My room was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything you would expect. I stayed in a two-queen, pet-friendly room with breakfast included. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were able to check in with no issues. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming from start to finish. The property also offers a pool, laundry facility, small gym, and an ice machine—very convenient amenities for travelers. But the true highlight for me was the breakfast.

Comfortable room and super friendly people at the front desk. The breakfast was great - real scrambled eggs with ham, potatoes, chilaques, oatmeal and more. The sausage was the only thing not so great. Room had a mini split that was great. We were able to get a late checkout which was helpful as we were here for the Nogales bicycle classic. Dinging it a bit because we couldn't get the TV to work. Overall we'd definitely stay here again.

I was a little hesitant to book here based on some of the reviews, but I was very pleased with my stay. It's clearly an older hotel but they've done a nice job with renovations, and I found the rooms to be very clean with mini-splits in each room for A/C which worked very well. My room also had a small fridge and microwave. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The smoke alarm in my first room was "chirping" and they gave me a different room quickly and with no hassle. The breakfast was also very good - scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, a waffle maker, plus the usual toast, bagels, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hot breakfast and very soft bed, I highly recommend it, if I comeback to this area I will stay here again for sure.
