Hotel 99

I really appriciate Hotel 99 and that's staff. You were always so kind and made my room clean and comfortable. In the coffee room on the first floor,I enjoyed talking with guest from all over the world.So thank you.

Stayed here two summers in a row, love the place!!!!! Front desk people are amazing! Also, they do have a working coffee machine in the downstairs lounge. Everything is super new and recently renovated!!! Would stay again :)))

My recent experience at Hotel 99 was truly memorable. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere that set the tone for the entire stay. The staff were incredibly pleasant and attentive, always ready to assist with any request and ensuring that I felt comfortable throughout my time there. Management takes great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the comforts one could ask for. It felt like a peaceful retreat, a home away from home. What stood out the most, however, was the genuine concern the staff showed for guests. Whether it was checking in, offering local recommendations, or simply asking how my stay was going, their level of care was exceptional. It's rare to find

I can’t believe I paid to live here. I went to Columbia and found this listed as “student housing”. Little did I know more than half of the building houses migrants and other sketchy characters in and out daily, with a minority students who don’t know any better and pay thousands a month for shabby rooms.||The conditions are unlivable. I had multiple cockroach infestations both inside my room and in the building in general, water ran cloudy, heating and AC was creaky and barely worked, showers were cold and filled with hair/dirt from other residents, uncomfortable comments from front desk, unsafe people going in and out of building facilities, heard everything from the streets and neighbors. Single-handedly the worst place i have ever stayed.

One of the worst places to live in NY. As a frequent traveller I can vouch that everything that you have read about this place on the booking site is wrong. They don't have breakfast, Gym or even a basic coffee machine that works. This is more like a hostel dorm.
