Hotel 31

I stayed at Hotel 31 in August last year with three other people, and overall we had a very good experience. The hotel is quite old-fashioned, but it is very well maintained and clean, which is something I really appreciated. The staff was extremely friendly from the beginning, and the check-in process was very easy and smooth. We didn’t have any issues at all during our stay. Every morning they cleaned the room and changed the sheets and towels. One thing that I really want to highlight is how easy it was to get there from LaGuardia Airport. We only had to take one bus and then the subway, and the subway station was about a block and a half from the hotel. It was super convenient, especially after a long flight. We stayed here for one night on NYE and I was so impressed. The staff were all very friendly and the room was spacious (superior double) enough for three friends. Clean private bathroom, great location! Will definitely be staying again. You truly cant beat it for the price and location. I also loved the vintage vibes, it felt like stepping back in time.

I stayed here for 4 months while studying at Pace University on a student visa, having come all the way from Germany, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Honestly, I expected it to be just okay, but it exceeded my expectations, it was great.||The staff are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet in Manhattan. They’re also very professional and stick to their word. The front desk team is always welcoming, ready to help, and available 24/7. You feel genuinely safe here thanks to the constant security presence.||Cleanliness is my top priority, and this place delivered. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well-maintained by a thoughtful and hardworking housekeeping team. I had a very positive experience at Hotel 31. The location is absolutely perfect—a 5/5 for convenience and ease of getting around. The service was also great and very attentive. While the rooms were a bit more standard, they were comfortable and met my needs for a 4-star stay.

We had a lovely stay!! The rooms were big and spacious, recently remodeled, we even had a kitchen!! The staff is so kind and helpful!! The price is amazing and of course the location is the greatest part of this hotel!! Empire state building is a short 10 min walk, and a subway station is a 3 min walk. Definitely would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to NYC for the first time, and would love to return on my next trip!!
