Hooks Hideaway

Hooks Hideaway Motel was a fantastic place to stay! Located just about 20 minutes north of Babb, it was close for our convenience. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless, with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the in-room heater for cooler nights. While the WiFi signal was a bit weaker the farther you were from the router, it was still reliable enough for basic use and didn’t impact our stay at all.Overall, a clean and extremely cozy motel. We would absolutely book again!

I cannot speak highly enough of our experience at Hooks Hideaway. Very clean and tidy. Staff were awesome. Remote, but accessible.|One experience I must share. Our rental car fob key battery failed and we were basically stranded due to Alamo’s inability to deliver us neither a battery for the fob or a different vehicle. I contacted the owner, Bill. A Blackfeet Indian. He came over after I called him in the morning (14 hours after we contacted Alamo with no result)|He came over, took my fob ans we did not have passports, and DROVE TO CANADA and purchased a new fob battery for our rental! Bill would not only not accept our gratitude money, he wouldn’t let me pay for the battery! He said, “this is what people do for people” |We were beyond thankful for not only staying in a very nice little

I don’t know where the people who left positive reviews stayed, but it wasn’t at Hook’s Hideaway. We were stuck staying here because there is no cell coverage and we couldn’t book anything else. It is creepy. There’s no microwave, no tv (which is okay) , air conditioner is in a hallway outside room, heater is decorative electric, no staff after 9, outside door was not secure, motel appears to be in the middle of a construction site down a very long gravel road. The motel itself looks like a DIY project. I can’t believe it gets so many stars on Trip Advisor. This is my first great disappointment in Trip Advisor’s recommendations.

Terrible place. Stay away. It got flooded and completely submerged underwater. Also it's down a long dirt (miles long) road that takes forever to get to with large ugly city water pipes and construction all around. Book anything else but here.

Lodging can be difficult to find east of Glacier National Park. We decided to try Hooks Hideaway for a night on the way from Glacier to Waterton National Park. The July weather was very warm, and the room had no AC but just a fan. It was barely sufficient to keep the room cool enough. Be sure to bring your own food, because you can't count on the restaurant to be open. The room had a mini-fridge with a tiny freezer. No ice is available. The room was a decent size, but the bathroom was tiny with absolutely no counter space. The shower head was good, but the water temperature varied somewhat. The bed was comfortable but squeaked when getting in or out of it. The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors. I don't think we'll return unless we're desperate for a place to stay.
