Duck Lake Lodge

One of the most enjoyable stays I have ever had! Terri is an absolute gracious host, and the food was incredible. They made sure our every need was met. Certainly not a fancy, five star hotel- but a place I cannot recommend highly enough for a Montana getaway. Will be back as often as I can!

Thoughtful amenities, 2 terrific restaurants nearby, easy access to Many Glacier & St. Mary's Lake entrances to West Glacier|Beds were comfortable and the view was awesome from our side of building|Rooms were small but the layout of the shower, bath & vanity rooms right across the hall was convenient. There were spacious common & lovely outdoor areas for relaxing.|The host was warm, generous and attentive. Her care was impressive considering the staffing shortage.

Stayed here for 4 nights during our trip to Glacier NP in Aug 2025. Our room was on the second floor with a double bed and shared bath and toilet. The room was a little small but we were barely in it other than sleep at night. There were other rooms with twin beds as well. The shower area and toilet were perfectly clean and they were rarely busy. There is a microwave available to use in the common area. The common seating area was also very useful for us to have dinner. We also had breakfast in their cafe downstairs and it was great. Terri was amazing in making sure we had a wonderful stay. We loved that the lodge is located little away from the main road surrounded by trees all around. Would surely stay here again when visiting Glacier again.

We had a great stay at the duck lake lodge for four nights. The location is amazing for the east side of the park. The breakfast in the mornings was also excellent. Would highly recommend staying here for visiting Glacier national park. WiFi was great too. Just give Terri a call to see if there’s availability. Seemed like one of the best options around and a great price too. Terri and Max were very gracious hosts. They also have campsite options on hipcamp

Full honestly first, I did not stay in the lodge, we tent camped. So I don't know much about the lodge but 10/10 would recommend this camp site. It is very close to Many Glaciers, the St. Mary (east) entrance and 2 medicine entrance. Our host was amazing. On top of the camp site the little extra things that they do and have for you out there make it so worth it. Place to wash dishes, and high speed wifi for free. Also for a very reasonable price they have ice and wood, snacks, breakfast, and showers available. When I come back to Glacier NP I know exactly where I will be staying. If you want to have an amazing experience and have a host that cares about their guests, this is the place for you. I can not say enough nice this about them.
