Homewood Suites by Hilton Tulsa South Medical District

Rooms weren't clean at check-in. The front desk attendants seemed like this happens all the time and asked if I wanted a different room type than I booked. They said a housekeeper quit last night and the rooms just weren't ready. What kind of hospitality is that? One of them let me have complimentary chips or nuts from the snack bar. So there's that. Breakfast tasted okay and I needed to be close to the hosipital so the location was great. The room itself was comfortable and I enjoyed the kitchenette but the bathroom ceiling was so low it was weird. There was dark hair stuck to the wall of the shower. I'm sure because the housekeepers were trying to "work fast".

The rooms are awesome! With kitchenette, wonderful layout, good couch and desk, nice closets, its just great! Shower is great. The continental breakfast is probably the best hotel breakfast Ive ever had, I dont stay much in hotels though, but its particularly good especially their mini scones. The staff are lovely! Prices seem really good to me!

This was an excellent experience! These rooms are suites with a kitchenette. Everything was clean and new looking. Lobby was bright and cheery looking. The front desk staff were very helpful and knew what they were doing. We had stayed at this hotel for a week when it was a Hyatt and it was an OK place but the new owners under the Hilton brand have made this hotel really nice. Stainless steel kitchen appliances, full size fridge, dishwasher and all the utensils you would need for a longer stay. Breakfast was hot and nicely prepared and served with actual plates and silverware not paper and plastic. I actually wished we could have stayed longer!

Showed up on a Friday at 4pm with a booking to be told they didn't have a room ready yet. They were waiting on house cleaning services .. fine we said we would wait. While walking in though we noticed all the house keeping in their uniforms were sitting in the back parking lot smoking. We asked her if they would take a Chime debit card to which she wasn't sure because the manager did not answer the phone. We waited the hour & came back to see if the room was ready. She told me they couldn't take the card .. that's fine. I was going to let it all slide. Why did they try to charge me 150 dollars the next morning on the same card they couldn't accept?! She should have cancelled my stay! I had to find another hotel for the night. Would not try this place again with service like that.
