Good choice for a stay north of San Diego. Rooms are big and not really fancy but that is what I expect at this brand. Breakfast is a little bit above average but the staff there really nice. One star deduction is bcs of the checkin experience. We booked a two bedroom suite and after checkin we went upstairs to realize that it was a normal room. I went down again to the other agent and he told me that the booked room isn‘t availible at this time and gave us a second room. Why they didn‘t write me that before or find a proactive solution at checkin instead of no word about it. I expect this as normal guest and as Diamond member even more.

Terrible experience, messaged them ahead of time that we will be reaching after midnight and need some water bottles in the room (as a diamond member it’s not too much of an ask I think) for starting our fast (as it is the month of Ramadhan), checkin desk was unattended for almost hour and half and if it was not for my online checkin option I would have been stranded. Once in the room, had no water there, whatsoever. Came to the desk before and at the checkout multiple times to see a manager, the manager communicated through the employee that they are busy and will call, never got a call, for a Hilton property to provide such terrible experience on average of over 160 a night is just unacceptable.

I don’t understand it—and I probably never will.||I genuinely do not understand how a company like Hilton can so routinely fumble one of the most basic standards of the hospitality industry: housekeeping.||Prior to our stay, I asked about housekeeping and was told rooms are serviced every other day. Fair enough. Based on past experiences at Hilton properties, I briefly considered calling the front desk to confirm that our rooms would in fact be serviced—but decided against it, assuming the property could handle a basic hotel function without supervision. That assumption was clearly incorrect.||I had treated my relatives—who are infrequent travelers—to a three-night stay, hoping to make it a special experience for them. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong property for that.||Isn’t housekeeping

Positive: The bed was very comfortable! I also liked the small gym that provided water and towels! Negative: I wish the front desk informed me of where everything was or where the amenities were. I didn?t know there was a jacuzzi I only saw the pool.

The only good thing about this stay—and the reason I'm giving even 2 stars—is the housekeeping staff. They were genuinely kind and helpful, and their service was the only positive part of our experience. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. First, the interior of the room was extremely outdated and had a rustic look, but not in a good way. The room smelled bad, the appliances and furniture felt old, and the drawers would open on their own without even touching them—and wouldn’t close properly either. It was very frustrating. Second, the AC fan was unbelievably loud. The noise was so strong that we could barely sleep at night. It made the room uncomfortable despite the temperature being fine. Third, the breakfast was just okay. The breakfast staff did a good job keeping things refi
