Homewood Suites by Hilton Ocala at Heath Brook

My first time at a Homewood Suites and this hotel has made me a fan of the chain for life. The rooms were spacious, though slightly dated they were still very clean and comfortable. The staff was warm and full of smiles everywhere I went and the breakfast was very good, including the taco bar. I’ll be back for sure.

Facility was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Guest room well laid out and roomy. Kitchen very conveniently designed. Staff were accommodating. Breakfasts were excellent and featured some unusual daily specials in additional to more conventional items. Very quiet.

I've been staying here for a few weeks now. Rooms are clean, but there's a certain old smell embedded in the room, nothing unbearable, but a bit disconcerning. Last stay here I didn't have a frying pan (I cook a lot and this is the main reason I always pick Homewoods chain), and the guy on front desk was unable to help. The guy was really nice but I could tell he was a new hire left out all by himself. Ventilation could be improve, fumes due cooking can be trapped in room, there's no way to open the windows and fan only recirculates air inside. The other people that had helped me before knows exactly what to do in cases like these. Next morning, I swung by front desk and they kindly left a frying pan at my room as requested. Pool is well maintain but poorly iluminated by night.

Nice hotel that has ample parking. It’s located not too far off of the highway. They offer breakfast in the morning. The staff was helpful. I hope to return again when in the area.
