Homewood Suites by Hilton Ithaca

Had a good 2 night stay. The hotel lobby and room were very clean and up to date. The staff was friendly and helpful, although no Hilton Honors member complimentary bottles of water were offered upon check in. The breakfast area was clean and had exactly was is expected from a Homewood Suites breakfast. One suggestion would be some thicker/fluffier pillows but other than that the room was perfect. Would stay again!

My family of 5 stayed here for one night in 2022 summer, and it was one of the best experiences we have had. The staff was very welcoming. They offered BBQ party when we arrived and a great breakfast the next morning. Everything was beautifully decorated and arranged. I remember a staff member, Maurice, was friendly and helpful. I've always recommended this hotel whenever people ask about it.

The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is OK. The hotel location is near Cornell University and Target with just few minute driving, very convenient for visiting Cornell University campus and Target shopping center. The key is easy for car parking. This hotel can be one of your good choices for the stay in Ithaca area.

After being a loyal Hilton customer for 6+ yrs, this hotel has convinced me to switch to another hotel brand. Our experience started with the revelation they had overbooked and therefore downgraded our room. Instead of the 2 bedroom suite with three actual beds that we booked and had paid for, we were given a room with one bed, a pullout sofa, and a roll away bed. Once we got in the room, we found that it had not been cleaned well with food and wrappers under the couch that we had to shift to make the roll away fit. The tv remote did not work- you could not turn volume down or adjust the channels. The only solution offered by Hilton was to reimburse the difference in price between the two rooms which we found less than satisfactory given we had planned and prepped for us to have enough act

I had a good experience with the staff here. From Michael, the face at the front desk, to the folks handling the evening snack/drinks, and breakfast in the morning. I arrived in the afternoon and was able to get into my room right away. The hotel is off the beaten path and not lots of loud traffic like many hotels. I went across the street for dinner at a local pizza place. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. The rooms are older, and the shower was odd. Seemed like it took a few minutes for the hot water to come through. The room had the basics. I'm not a big breakfast eater, but I did have a bagel and some oatmeal. Simple. Met some nice people also in travel mode. I wish the folks here all the best. Like I said, Michael was good to speak to.
