Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford-Farmington

Absolutely amazing! This has been my off and on home, away from home for most of 2026. I couldn't ask for a better experience. The staff from the front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, sales/management, morning breakfast team has been so friendly and accommodating. I would like to give the whole team kudos. They are all so friendly, welcoming and very accomodating to all of their guests. You will not find a better long-term or short term stay in all of the Farmington/Hartford/West Harford area. I have been "lucky" enough to endure two huge snow storms while staying here and their snow removal has been fabulous. Highly reccommend this Hilton and their thougtful and and caring team.

Homewood prices. "Bates Motel" experience.||I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Homewood Suites Farmington this past weekend.||I’ve stayed here several times before and never had any problems. Unfortunately, this visit was a different story. First and foremost, there was black mold in the shower. This is absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it until I was already in the shower — far too late to change rooms.||The problems didn’t end there. The mattress was completely worn out and uncomfortable. Housekeeping thought it was a good idea to place the iron up high on the shelf next to the extra pillows and blankets. When I pulled out the pillows, the iron fell and nearly hit my bare foot — I only avoided injury because I moved fast enough to get out of the way.||I w

Oh where to begin. Upon check in on 3/7/26 around 1pm the front desk agent, Antoinette i believe, wasnt very personable and dismissive but she let me check in early which was appreciated. We get to room 117, and flush the toilet and it completely overflows the bathroom and the carpet in the bed room. I politely ask her if we can change rooms so we dont have to sleep with raw sewage and she rudely says, "well I have housekeeping so no." Whatever that means.. so we sleep with raw sewage soaked carpet. The smell was lovely. No apology, no offer to move rooms, no nothing. She couldnt care any less. Next, I ask where to get ice, ( theres no ice machines ) she doesnt say a word and points to a fridge that I cannot see behind the front desk. So I walk over and still dont see ice so I ask, and s

I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service we received from the front desk attendants at The Homewood Suites in Farmington, CT. The young lady who assisted us with our late check-in at 3:00 AM on Saturday did a fantastic job, and I commend her for taking the time to get everything just right, especially since she was likely in training. Her manager was also very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, extending our check-out time as a gesture of goodwill. If I had gotten their names, I would definitely mention them in this review! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant.
