Extended Stay America Suites- Hartford - Farmington

Hallways and elevator smell like smoke. There is on-site laundry and vending machines. Basic set up, but clean. Perfect travel location. Right next to major exits, however, that also means you can hear occasional traffic. Easy to check in and out. Staff were polite and efficient.

I stayed at this Extended Stay location with my daughter, and it was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The staff was incredibly compassionate, which was a rare and much-needed touch during a difficult time in my life. Everyone I interacted with genuinely cared about my situation, and it was evident in their service. The room itself was beautiful, with a clean kitchen area, fresh towels, and quality utensils and silverware, which made my stay feel more comfortable. The only issue I encountered was when the maintenance person entered my room without permission. They claimed they smelled something burning, but as someone who is spiritually in tune, I immediately knew someone was in my room, which was confirmed by housekeeping. Amazing hotel. First time experience at this chain. The room exceeded expectations. The heat was already on for our arrival so it was so nice and welcoming. Cynthia from the front desk greeted us warmly and called the room to see if we were ok with our accommodation. Never have I ever received this type of attention as a guest of any hotel. Top notch service. I highly recommend this hotel.

I've had to stay at extended stays from May until November. Not for leisure, but I was homeless. I typically would go between Manchester, Farmington and Meriden. It really depended on who had the cheapest price for the day I'm strictly talking about the Farmington location now. I think some things need to be said. First off, the rooms themselves are great. A lot of them are remodeled with stoves and ovens. Many of them have full kitchens. The only gripe I ever had with the room itself, is if somebody cooked with Curry or a very strong smell the night before, good luck ever getting it out. I had to change rooms one night because the smell was so gross it kept waking me up out of a dead sleep. That's not really the hotel's fault though. Now here's where I get a little more critical. First

Positive: Location Negative: Doesn’t look like the photos advertising property. Appliance is old. Stove was dirty and unsafe to use. I wouldn’t stay there. I walked out.
