Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford/Farmington

We absolutely love this hotel. Will always stay here when we visit CT from NC. The staff and front desk went above and beyond and then above and beyond again. They truly are in the hospitality sector. Cheery, personable, and helpful. Good old fashioned customer service. The facilities are so clean, the pool and hot tub are so well kept and the breakfast was fresh and good. The room was laid out well and every time we came back to the hotel in our 5 day stay we felt like we were home. Thank you!!!!

This review would have been five stars, but it is four stars because of a building mechanical issue that affected our stay in a negative way. We stayed two nights. The first night there was a deep resonating, pounding, vibrating noise that rattled our windows and our bed. Neither myself nor my husband slept that night. I had a migraine the next morning. We found out later the noise was caused by the building’s air handling system which is mounted on the roof above room 349. |Fortunately, the next morning, the hotel staff understood our dilemma and moved us to an identical room on a different floor.|That room was quiet, clean and comfortable; that is what we have come to expect from the Hampton Inn by Hilton. |Avoid room 349 due to the noise component. |Staff was helpful and friendly even d

We use this hotel every time we visit family in the area. Our previous stays at this hotel have been fine until now. This time our room was very noisy, apparently a party was going on below us. Also, the shower would not shut off completely and was constantly loudly dripping. We went to the front desk and the staff there was very polite and accommodating. They transferred us to a quieter room, and we were able to get a good night’s sleep. However, the next morning, the shower was barely warm and there was very little water pressure. For the cost of the room, we expected that we would have a hot shower in the morning, especially on a cold winter day. So, with having to change rooms due to noise and a cold shower in the morning, this was a very disappointing experience. I think we

We stayed over the holidays and really enjoyed this hotel especially for the price and in this area. It seems like most hotels have some aspect or feature that is off or misleading from photos. Here, all the basics are covered - large suite room, comfy bed, quiet area, decent breakfast, small but well-stocked gym, friendly staff, easy and free parking, nice, well-lit grounds. We have zero complaints and will be staying again whenever we're back in the area. Thanks for a great stay!
