Courtyard by Marriott Hartford Farmington

My stay at the courtyard Hartford Farmington Marriott was exceptional. The room was clean. It was very quiet. I have stayed here many times and I really enjoy coming here. I would like to give a special shout out to Shane Jackie, and.Malachi at the front desk, so helpful,kind and friendly. Also, I would like to say that the housekeeping staff was amazing. Unfortunately, I did not get their names. They did a wonderful job of cleaning the room and they were just so very pleasant and kind. I will be back again next year thank you for the wonderful day.

Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience!! I reserved a room with a king-size bed weeks in advance, only to be told on the day of check-in that the hotel could not accommodate my reservation. No explanation was given just a flat refusal to honor what I had already booked. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of compassion or effort to help. The manager, Austin, was rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. There was no attempt to offer a solution, alternative, or even a sincere apology. If you’re expecting professionalism, transparency, or basic customer service, this hotel falls far short. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re comfortable with reservations not being honored and staff who don’t care. Also attached are pictures of stained bed sheets and some sort o

I hate to give three star reviews for this hotel because the front desk staff were wonderful and the cleanliness of the hotel was very satisfactory. We stayed here one night. My issue was with the housekeeping who disregarded my do not disturb equivalent sign (the “…dreaming big…” paper sign for the door) twice and knocked on my door. The first knock was around 10:18am so I communicated then that we don’t need the service, the second knock was around 11am, therefore both despite the do not disturb equivalent sign being on the door. As a platinum bonvoy member this was way before the checkout time. I would have been more understanding if it was just once or at the check out time. This made us feel rushed out, unpleasant especially because we were busy getting ready for an important event. G

I was in Farmington for two days of meetings. I arrived at the hotel early and was able to get checked in quickly to get an early start on my meetings. At the end of both days I was beat and decided I would have a simple dinner at the bar/restaurant downstairs. The food was good, the service was excellent. Jason at the bar/Jason the waiter/Jason the cook is amazing, he wears all of his hats very well. Not a huge selection of items on the menu, but everything I had was very good. The room was very comfortable, well maintained and exceptionally clean. All of the staff were helpful and friendly.

We held our wedding room block here in late October! Shane went above and beyond for us. From the initial contact through the day after the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I highly recommend using this hotel—it was perfect for our room blocks (we had over 30 rooms). The getting-ready suite was ideal for hair and makeup, and we even set up light bites so guests could come and go throughout the morning. We also hosted the after party at the hotel with about 50 people, and a common theme we kept hearing was how great and genuinely kind the staff were! I wish I remembered the names of everyone but I do remember Malachi! Thanks again Shane for making this possible!
