Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo-Amherst

This place is in very rough shape! Two stars because they are renovating it, but until that's complete, I would avoid it at all costs. Stains on the carpeting and every piece of furniture. I didn't even want to sit down. The bed smelled bad. Not sure if the sheets weren't clean or it was just old and smelly. I couldn't wait to get out of there and go take a shower.

Bathroom- hair on toilet, shower drain was clogged. No shower gel in container. Room - showing its age. Sofa and chair had stains on them. Furniture damaged and wood had scratches in it. Sofa bed had 2 fitted sheets had to go back down for a regular sheet. Hot tub - they were replacing the heater , so of course hot tub out of order. Wouldn’t be bad but seems like everything in hotel was falling apart. Carpets are worn down.

Positive: People were friendly Negative: Breakfast not good. Not enough food drink dishes. Orange juice if you could get any was watered down

I travel all over for work and have never had a bad experience in a Hilton facility. This particular stay has been one of the best. The hotel is clean and comfortable. I work nights so sometimes I miss the room cleaning because I am asleep. This morning I got in at 9:30 and my room had already been serviced. What a relief! The staff All around is extremely friendly and the premises is beautiful and well kept. We will definitely stay here again!

I stayed here with my wife and daughter for xmas 2025. They were in the process of renovations and yet they maintained a high quality stay for my family and I. They had pretty large apartments, they were clean rooms, stocked per the usual hotel accommodations. The prices were good and the stay was pleasant. I would stay and recommend this hotel for anyone.
