Hometown Inn

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed here. The 1st time we thought maybe the staff was short on help and that's the reason why their rooms were dirty.....no, this time around our room was very disgusting. The curtains, and bed frames are covered with I want to say an inch of dust. There were dirt stains on our blanket so we used our own blankets. They don't take the proper time to clean a room because my husband found empty beer cans next to the chair that's in the room and my husband and I don't drink. There was a dirt ring around the tub so we didn't even take a shower. There are broken windows in some rooms. The heat/ air thing doesn't even work. When they say breakfast included, your choices are cereal or muffins, coffee or orange juice or apple juice. It is winter out an

We went to this hotel for a weekend UTV’ing trip. Hotel is right by access to trails which was wonderful. The actual building is a little run down and old, but the staff and service were exceptional. Pool are was older, but maintained. New carpets throughout the entire building, but beds and pillows are definitely outdated. We will come back again.

Positive: Location and the we pool/hot tub. Breakfast was good, real hard boiled eggs. Negative: Older, worn decor, pillows and loose toilet in our room.

It was perfectly situated between some "up north" destinations. The parking lot was absolutely treacherous though. A complete sheet of ice up to the entry door.

Me and my family have been coming to this hotel off and on never had any issues till last night I get there the lady at the front desk was very rude to me I ask for a room up stairs and she got mad and started yelling at me like I was crazy for even asking than tells me to sign in on this electronic pad as I'm signing it she says to me very rude like why do you want a room up stairs so badly anyways I told her we'll last time I stayed here I got a room up stairs than she says to me we'll thats not available to me than the electronic pad shut off before I was able to finish signing it i told her it shut off before I finished it she got even more ruder to me says to me well thats because I waited to long to sign it than after I finished she gives me a room key for up stairs after telling
