This campground was… unique. The amenities were nice, but the campground was noisy from sun up to sundown. The first night, our neighbors were blaring a podcast until midnight. The second night, we were woken by adults using a loud microphone at 2am just for entertainment, management was nowhere to be seen. The doors to the bathroom were also constantly being slammed. Not to mention the odors and messiness of the restrooms. Workers seemed interesting, made fun of my age when purchasing alcohol at the camp store. Only worth the money if you’re looking for a party spot, not somewhere to peacefully camp. Made for a very disappointing, restless weekend.

I understand this is now called "Twin Bears Wooded Campground". Called to try to get monthly rates but was met on the phone by a somewhat nasty woman who told me that she was on the phone with another customer and to check the reservation web site. I asked her if she could tell me if the campground has monthly rates (which are cheaper), and she told me they are listed on the reservation web site and I asked if I could call her back as she was already talking to another customer, but she again directed me to the reservation web site and the call ended. I went to the reservation web site and of course it only uses nightly rates. Furthermore, the camp ground has its own web site which has NO INFORMATION AT ALL, no rates, amenities, hookup information- nothing. Not even an address to their "bu

We had 3 sites from Thursday to Monday and what can we say. WE LOVE TWIN BEARS WOODED CAMPGROUND! The new owners and staff are so nice and hospitable! There is so.much for kids to do. We loved candy bar bingo!!! The pool is so neat and shaped like Michigan. The new owners and staff are doing a great job and we can't wait to see what happens in the future!! We are definitely coming back and recommending this campground to everyone! P.s could you please tell the staff member with the short blonde hair who did bingo the first night (Aug. 8th)that she is Awesome and we hope her and her husband are back again next season!!!

I do not know where to begin! Our stay at Twin Bears Wooded Campground was absolutely perfect. We stayed in Cabin C, however, we had family in an RV there as well. The cabin was exactly as advertised and immaculate. The campsites are huge and so private. The entire grounds are magical, like being in the middle of the woods. The pool is beautiful and clean. The bath house is new and absolutely spotless! The laundry building was excellent as well. The staff went completely out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The store is awesome, we played putt-putt golf and panned for gems and gold. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in the area.

First time there and the experience was great. The owners and employees running the campground are very nice to deal with and said their plan is to carry locally made products to highlight the area in the camp store. I truly hope they start carrying Witt's maple syrup especially the bourbon barrel aged syrup as it is absolutely phenomenal as is all his syrups. We will definitely be back next year and can't wait to see the improvements.
