Home2 Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City-East

This was a pleasant stay. Room was clean and comfortable. We had our dog and there is a nice area for walking to the left of the parking lot, loved the big fire pit outside. Breakfast had lots of hot options; typical hotel quality but better than just continental. We had egg patties, ham, sausage. Potatoes, egg cups like the vida sous eggs at Starbucks (and just as good), and then the continental selections. Good coffee. Reg and decaf. I felt the $75 per fee was stiff especially when your dog is well trained, but they ended up only charging $65 so I gave that other $10 to housekeeping. We will stay again!

Positive: Right off a man road. Fabulous coffee shop right next door Negative: Someone had spilled coffee or some other sticky substance on the third floor elevator before we arrived. I asked three times before they actually cleaned it up. By then it was inside of both elevators. Also, the air conditioning unit in our room was noisy

My mother and I checked into Room 234 (a 1 bedroom suite) on December 31st (for a 6 night stay) since we decided to celebrate our New Year's Eve in Salt Lake City and ski at Park City Mountain Resort for 6 days. Our room was cleaned very well by the top-notch housekeeping team. The daily complimentary breakfast buffet was outstanding with a huge variety of breakfast offerings. The oatmeal was by far the BEST oatmeal I have ever had in the USA. The fitness center is very well maintained with state-of-the-art cardio equipment + weights. In addition to the excellent amenities offered at this hotel, I would like share the names of multiple hotel employees who demonstrated a first-rate level of customer service. Absolute nightmare. Running and pounding on the floor at all hours during my two night stay. Complained 5 times, even in person at the desk. They offered me a different room after third complaint. I didn’t take it. I’m sitting in the lobby after getting no sleep looking at a plaque on the wall telling me that the night is on them if I wasn’t completely satisfied. Instead I got the assistant manager’s card. Totally unacceptable. Getting ready for a full day’s traveling on 2 nights of broken sleep. Torture. I guess by not taking the offer of the other room, I’m out of luck. I’ll have to put my boss on it, I guess. Horrible experience.

I had a great stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton. The hotel was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The room was spacious and well designed, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful, which really made a difference. Breakfast was fresh and had a nice variety, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.
