Home2 Suites by Hilton Amarillo

The staff was friendly, rooms were clean with housekeeping doing a great job and cleaned every other day. The water pressure is not great at all though. It took forever to wash my hair. And the water was either very hot or almost cold. The breakfast wasn't bad and they had long hours. Gym is fine, laundry costs 75 cents to wash and 75 cents to a dollar to dry. Two working washers and dryers. Beds were fine, rooms were pretty spacious, AC was cold. The walls were super thin. There was a screaming match on my floor every night and you could hear people running in the hallways. And I knew when the person in the room above me woke up because they would stomp on the floor when they walked. And you can hear other people flush their toilets. They don't have digital keys, which was disappointing.

We loved everything about this hotel! Jessica, the front desk mgr was very friendly and helpful. Kaila, Cindy and Shawna served breakfast with a very friendly and warm greeting. They were very attentive to my needs. The breakfast area was very clean, and well stocked with a variety of foods.|The salt water hot tub is 100% great! The salt water swimming pool was large. It was a little bit cold for my taste, but we had the whole swimming area often to ourselves. The workout room is centrally located and very clean. It was mostly unused, also. |We plan to stay at Home2 Suites in Amarillo the next time we are in town.

We had a very nice stay here. Matt Wookie checked us in and was very nice and accommodating. We didn't have a reservation and we were traveling with our two dogs. This is a very pet friendly hotel. They even have treats at the small shop in the lobby for purchase. The rooms were very comfortable and we're well stocked. Breakfast was good. They even provide a small selection of healthier options. The pool is great as is the hot tub. They also have a really nice patio with a firepit and grills. The pillows are so nice and I wish so much that I had one! The only complaint would be the bathroom door. It was hard to close and I nearly got stuck inside. Otherwise it was a great stay in a good location for shopping and dining. And it is quick access to I-40. We will be staying again!

Wonderful stay! Clean and safe environment. The man working the front desk through out the night was very friendly. Breakfast was amazing! My only complaint would be that none of the external doors worked even with the room key. The pool was very nice, I was hoping for better pool towels but the hot tub made up for it.

Positive: The room was enormous! Lots of room, even with two queen beds. And a separate curtained-off section with a sleeper sofa and a kitchenette! Large bathroom. Negative: TV remote stopped working and maintenance never responded. The room has no written instructions anywhere, for anything. Had to ask the front desk manager how to get on the wi-fi.
