Where do I begin? Lobby is locked, so you check in through bullet proof glass. In the first room, hole in the wall behind the door, insects present, sticky liquid spilled on dresser, lamp shades soiled, bed coverings stained and had cigarette holes, no smoke detector in the room, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and around the exhaust vent. Moved to a 2nd room. A little better, but included more insects than the other room, stained bed coverings with cigarette holes, massive cobwebs that we removed. The ice machine was not operational. Shut it down. Travelocity should remove from booking ability.

We have stayed at this Motel 6 a number of times in our return trips from Florida. The rooms are ok, the beds average at best, the location off freeway excellent. Only drawback in the past has been noise, which was not the case this year. The fact they accept pets has always been a plus. However, the $45 coupon rate applied only to 2nd floor rooms and that disappeared when we mentioned we had two dogs, so we ended up paying $72|for a ground floor room. That’s a lot for a Motel 6 not on the Florida Oceanside. Not the friendliest owner/ manager either. We’ll look for something else next year.|

Rooms are very clean and lady at the front desk was very nice. I came in late around 1am to find a quiet place to get some rest before heading back on the road and I found myself pleasantly surprised with the stay.

To check in to a Motel 6...one DOES NOT expect, nice clean rooms.....$60.00 rate for 2 double beds, 2 people; and enough outlets for ALL of our electronics!!! We were traveling back to Iowa from a 2 week stay on Marco Island and always choose inexpensive hotels...just to shower and sleep, and this hotel was the nicest inexpensive hotel we have ever stayed in.

Lobby was completely locked up . Clerk behind glass window. Told him we were there to check in. He started screaming something about it being wrong. I showed him a copy of our reservation and he started yelling about us smoking. We figured out he was trying to tell us he had no handicap room that was non smoking. I had made the reservation over a month before but that did not matter. We didn't need a key for our room as it would not lock except with the dead bolt from inside.
