Holiday Motel

Rooms are way to small, tile was cracked in the shower , rooms looked old and run down.....shower backed up , toilet leaked , bathroom sink wasn't very clean and floors were definitely not clean, this motel is old and very run down...I definitely don't recommend this motel to anyone....when u leave a review on these people and then try to book a room with them again to give them another chance they will cancel your reservation and then tell u to go to another room cause they have no rooms left

After finding that even the budget chain properties in Ocala along I-75 wanted high rates for walk-in customers, we headed east into town to look along the old north-south highway, US 301 & 441. Just south of FL 200 on the south side of town, we selected the Holiday Motel while observing that there were 2 other similar mom & pop style older motels within immediate walking distance.||||While a one-star level property for sure, the room was clean and suited the needs of 2 guys traveling together just fine. The TV was an older tube-style set but with many cable channels, and the AC was a window unit installed in the wall but cooled the room just fine. The furniture was very basic and well aged.||||This type of room is not for many travelers, but for us, it fit our needs and the $37.50 rate

No heat kids got very sick for 3 days being in that hotel, TV didnt work and the blankets were dirty, never again coming here worse money I ever spent

Not bad for the 10 days I ended up staying here just last month. Though the price is quite high I guess it's probably average these days within the inflation of everything else. Still very kind family run establishment they are also understanding when the boss hadn't made payment for the day they didn't kick me out they waited till my husband got back that night with his cash app card to pay for another 2 nights the boss sent him the money for. I received clean towels and linens every other day and was impressed with the cleanliness of the room

Pulling into Ocala, Florida, late on a cold and rainy night, many motels were either too expensive or full up. The Holiday Motel was just what we needed--basic (no phone, no coffee but TV, microwave, and fridge); affordable ($80 including tax); clean, comfortable bed; clean bathroom, reliable wifi, and plenty of electrical outlets. We had a good night's sleep. Other reviewers have had negative comments and I cannot speak to those from months ago. But we found no bugs and the staff were extremely helpful, allowing us to inspect the room before paying and giving us a space heater and blankets.
