Holiday Inn Vicksburg by IHG

Lovely bight, fresh feel to this hotel from the entrance to our room. Extremely friendly staff. We were made to feel very welcome. The receptionist gave us great advice on where to eat. We were able to do our washing on site, a real bonus. The entrance area had a nice seating space with complimentary tea & coffee. Our room was spacious enough, had all we needed, not flash, but perfectly adequate. The swimming pool was closed, sadly, we would have loved a swim! The Mexican restaurant next door was excellent! We would stay again if we came back this way. Thank you.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn, and it was all thanks to the incredible staff who made me feel right at home. From the moment I arrived, Janis at the front desk was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was warm, welcoming, and made changes to my stay effortlessly—no hassle, no stress, just excellent customer service. The food and beverage team—Phyllis, Melli, and Lashonda—were truly a delight. Every interaction with them was kind and thoughtful, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making guests feel comfortable. The food was always fresh, and their attention to detail made every meal enjoyable. And I can’t forget Paul, the cook—he did an amazing job with breakfast! Everything was hot, delicious, and made with care, which was the perfect way to start the day.

The hotel is beautiful. Advertised as a full service Holiday Inn. Not the case. Breakfast is all that is available. The check-in was miserable. While we were trying to check in after a very long day, the supposed Director of Sales was talking to everyone around us instead of us. The TV in the room was broken. The check out was much better. She was friendly and helpful. Much much more but doubt that management of this property cares. Steer clear of this IHG property many other name brand hotels in the area.

The hotel needed upgrades. The room smelled old, it was dusty and needed to be completely vacuumed. I could see pieces of food by the bed. Very disappointed and thankful we only stayed one night. On the other hand, the breakfast was delicious a true hot breakfast. It was exactly what we needed for our busy day. The front desk was very helpful and the staff at breakfast were very very nice and friendly. However, we will not return.

I just needed a bed and got so much more. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Phyllis went above and beyond with her helpful and pleasant demeanor. No issues with this stay, just a good night sleep!
