Holiday Inn & Suites Bakersfield by IHG

We checked in at around 6:30 and wanted to eat in the restaurant the staff in the restaurant were extremely slow and it took about an hour for us to get some chicken nuggets and a hamburger even though there was absolutely nobody else in the entire restaurant when we left the restaurant the staff behind the front counter was passed out drunk I will provide video down below I had trouble waking him up and making sure that he secured his personal possessions that could have been stolen from him while he was passed out the room itself was decent the beds were good-sized two of us enjoyed the beds one of us did not the shower head did not perform very well only half of it worked. We then went down for the free breakfast today are supposed to serve at 6:30 and the restaurant was not open at 6:4

My boyfriend and I stayed here on December 1st, 2025 and found it to be a good value. We got a good last minute deal and had a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and felt safe at this location. I also liked the walk in shower opposed to a bathtub. The one thing I did not like was that there were no blackout curtains. They only have a sheer curtain for the window that lets all the sun in if you're trying to sleep late. Overall, it was a nice stay and the staff was very nice.

We stayed overnight on a cross-country drive. The highlights were the universally friendly staff. The hotel is aging but overall in good shape. |Our room was a 1BR on the 4th floor and was clean and quiet. The furniture is very dark, as is the room, but it's functional and the bed was comfortable. The shower did not have good water pressure. We appreciated the Keurig, microwave and mini-fridge in the room.|The breakfast, a buffet for which they charge $22, was terrible. It was worse than the free breakfasts at Holiday Inn Expresses. The eggs/sausage/bacon was cold, the oatmeal was basically oats swimming in water, the breads/bagels/peanut butter were low quality, and they offered plastic plates and utensils. |The gym is quite small and there were no towels, wipes or water. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect—close to highway as well as town. The service was great. I stayed in a beautiful suite with a king bed on 4 th floor., saw beautiful sunset from window. The suit was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The hotel also has a great pool—perfect for relaxing after a day out. delicious breakfast: scrambled egg and pancake combo. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, convenience.

We got there early evening and when we walked in, we were last place with 5 in line. The receptionist, Aly was very attentive in letting everyone know she would be right with us. She kept her cool in a stressful situation and that's something I appreciate. The rooms were clean and pretty spacious. Only complaint is the room didn't come with a mini fridge.
