Holiday Inn Houston East-Channelview by IHG

This is definitely a gem located in Channelview! I've driven by several times and always looked well kept and security in the evenings. Recently some Family came in to town and stayed here and I have to say the complete staff is super friendly and accommodating! The breakfast is very good as well as catching dinner there as well! They even have an indoor pool! Everything inside was very clean and just a great place to stay in this area if your in need of a friendly, clean place to stay in Channelview, THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!!! I wanted to thank the whole staff there for taking such good care of my family while they stayed here and us as visitors!!! Super great Hotel!!!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in this area!!!!

Great service comfortable beds, clean rooms and a very helpful and pleasant staff the food is great. You have good service. No level is very low in the rooms easy access anywhere in the hotel and it is very enjoyable staying there would recommend it to anybody that would ask me.

Made a last minute trip to Houston/Baytown/Galveston and chose this hotel based on its reviews. It did not disappoint. The rooms was very large for a Holiday Inn as well as the bathroom was tiled and had a small tiled bench at the back which was nice. A/C was awesome. We like our rooms cold and it did the job. The hallways and lobby were very clean. Staff was exceptionally friendly which is hard to come by these days. Also it had a Tesla recharge station at the back of the hotel for those of you who have a Tesla. Will be back for another stay when we return.

The rooms are clean and nice. Low quality customer service and a disappointing experience for the price of the rooms. There was no one hosting the ‘restaurant’ or greeting you anywhere, they only come and ask random people for their room numbers when inside ‘ the restaurant’. The food was disappointing. Overall I would not comeback to this location, for their price and advertisement I’m disappointed.

Its Good place to Stay. Rooms were good and the washrooms were super clean but they provide Soap for shower instead of body wash. Kitchen Timings are morning 6 am-10 am then 11 am- 1:30 pm and dinner is 5pm - 10 pm ( On Saturday and Sunday kitchen opens at 7 am & rest of the timings are same). You cannot order anything beyond those timings as no one is available in the Kitchen. But you can Go out and there are lot of food options nearby, Lot of Restaurant and Shopping complex at around 6-7 miles. Breakfast buffet was okish for 15$ which includes : Scrambled eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Breads, hash browns, muffins, coffee, fruits (strawberries and blueberries), yogurts, Tea etc. Free WiFi was working great.
